E-Participation Policy
This e-Participation Policy aims to establish a culture and practice of e-Participation in order to enhance transparency and public participation in improving service quality. MBPJ always recognizes public involvement to enable the Ministry to explore broader perspectives, sources of information, and potential solutions to improve decisions and services. It also provides a foundation for productive relationships, better dialogue and discussion, and orderly governance.
The objective of e-Participation is to engage the public in development policies and decision-making processes through the use of information and communication technology. The communication channels used include Online Surveys, Public Consultation, Feedback/Enquiries, Polls, Email, and Social Media.
- Any statements that touch on sensitivities relating to race, religion, and politics are strictly prohibited.
- It is prohibited to demean others, make personal attacks, or make statements that may offend other participants.
- Maintain Malaysia’s culture of courtesy by avoiding the use of abusive or obscene language.
- Chatting or posting comments that stray from the main topic is discouraged.
- Lewd topics and links to pornographic websites are strictly prohibited.
- Ensure that your statements/topics do not violate “COPYRIGHT LAW”, “TRADEMARK”, “PATENT”, and other related laws.
- It is prohibited to use this E-Participation space as a platform to circulate chain letters or spam (junk email), whether for commercial purposes or otherwise.
- Uploading files that contain computer viruses such as “Trojan Horses”, “worms”, “time bombs”, “cancel bots”, or any other software or programs that may damage the operation of another user’s computer is not allowed.
- Under no circumstances does the administrator of the E-Participation space endorse, support, represent, or guarantee the truth, accuracy, or reliability of any statements/topics made in this E-Participation space. Each individual should understand that any risk relating to the reliability of any material in this space is borne by the individual themselves.
- The administrator of the E-Participation space reserves the right to amend or delete any statements/topics at any time without notifying the author of the relevant statement/topic.
- As a participant or anyone posting statements in this E-Participation space, you are bound by the terms and conditions of the E-Participation Policy.
- The administrator of the E-Participation space reserves the right to amend this E-Participation Policy at any time without any announcement/notice.
